Bharat Parentera posts Q4 net loss of Rs 2.56 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 2.56 crore compared to net profit of Rs 2.67 crore in the previous year quarter. 

Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 24.10 per cent at Rs 41.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 33.65 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter operating expenses increased by 47.08 per cent to Rs 40.52 crore from Rs 27.55 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 71.57 per cent at Rs 0.85 crore versus (Mar'17 Rs 2.99 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 79.67 per cent to Rs 1.24 crore as against Rs 6.10 crore in the year ago period while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 83.66 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 38.89 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.25 crore while Taxation increased by 584.09 per cent at Rs 3.01 crore (Mar'17 Rs 0.44 crore).
