Crude Oil futures surge 0.89% on spot demand

Crude Oil futures were trading higher during noon trade in the domestic market on Friday as speculators created fresh positions on spot demand.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude prices higher in futures trade here.

At the MCX crude oil futures for October 2019 contract is trading at Rs 3839.00 per barrel up by 0.89 per cent after opening at Rs 3822.00 against a previous close of Rs 3805.00. It touched the intra-day high of Rs 3848.00 (at 12:37 hours).
