Sandur M & I Ore Q1 net profit up 1.87% at Rs 53.25 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 53.25 crore for the quarter ended June 30 2019 as compared to Rs 52.27 crore in the same period last year registering a year-on-year growth of 1.87 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 3.95 per cent at Rs 196.43 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 204.51 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter operating expenses dropped by 5.60 per cent to Rs 114.04 crore from Rs 120.80 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 43.81 per cent at Rs 1.18 crore versus (Jun`18 Rs 2.10 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 1.58 per cent to Rs 82.39 crore as against Rs 83.71 crore in the year ago period while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 2.47 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 29.69 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.66 crore while Taxation decreased by 16.23 per cent at Rs 25.54 crore (Jun`18 Rs 30.49 crore).
