Williamson Magor posts Q2 net profit of Rs 29.80 cr

The company reported standalone net profit during the quarter stood at Rs 29.80 crore compared to net loss of Rs 10.94 crore in the previous year quarter.

Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 15.62 per cent at Rs 9.94 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 11.78 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter operating expenses dropped by 15.08 per cent to Rs 1.07 crore from Rs 1.26 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 996.82 per cent at Rs 48.26 crore versus (Sep`18 Rs 4.40 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 15.68 per cent to Rs 8.87 crore as against Rs 10.52 crore in the year ago period while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 0.06 per cent in September quarter.

Interest grew by 5.69 per cent y-o-y to Rs 27.32 crore
